Royal Fever

As did the rest of the world, especially those who still believe in fairytales, I woke up to watch the royal wedding. It was everything that I had imagined, an non-animated Disney story complete with wedding bells, carriages and the most amazing fashions. Princess Kate's dress was exquisite and reminiscent of Grace's Kelly's wedding gown that was worn decades earlier. Both are examples of classic and everlasting fashion. Morning suits were also a fave of mine from the nuptials. I adored the men who wore them, it was like a uniform for a gentleman. The above photo is a still from one of my favorite movies about royalty, the lavish Marie Antoinette.

VS Pink goes NFL

I am a huge fan of Victoria's Secret Pink collection. As a college student, I wear a majority of vs pink gear to classes. When I found out they were adding Mizzou to its collegiate collection I was ecstatic. Next, they added MLB and I was in overwhelmed. Now VS announced at the NFL draft that they will add NFL teams to their collection. Now, I absolutely cannot wait for my favorite sport's season to start. Only one problem, should I root for my "roots", Chicago Bears, or where I live now, the suffering St.Louis Rams, because of Sam Bradford. Well, I've never had a good experience with a Sooner so... GO BEARS!

Coachella-ella-ella

Coachella music festival was a couple weeks ago and because I live in the middle of Missouri I didn't attend. It is pretty high on my to-do list for the near future. I was even more disappointed I wasn't there when Glamour magazine posted a blog on tie-dye nails. The first thing I thought of was Coachella. It's a swirly, summery look and I love how it is fresh and fun. I love mixing my polishes to create new shades and if I were at Coachella I would be flashing my tie-dye nails while singing along with La Roux and Little Boots!

Crazy Love for Zac Posen for Target

The Zac Posen collection for Target debuted this weekend. I wasn't early enough to make my purchases. Everything I wanted, which was nearly everything, was sold out on Target's Web site today. Including these fab pieces:
I'm hoping they will restock them!

Never Too Late

First blog post. It only took me a couple of years. I have been sitting on this for too long. I'm excited to begin a new chapter. As I approach graduation from the University of Missouri's journalism school, I realize now that I can't sit on ideas or plans anymore. I just have to do it and hope for the best.
